30th September 2002:

An update to the Revised Dragon Code (V2.6) is finished. The following modifications were made:

1. Thaumivore added to Diet tag at the request of Rene.
2. Various corrections.

28th August 2001:

An update to the Revised Dragon Code (V2.5) is finished. The following modifications were made:

1. Emotion tag added (otherwise called huggability) at the request of Sonarrat.
2. Marbled added as a type of pattern to the Colour tag at the suggestion of Mara Goldforest.
3. Dimar added as a species of Dragon at the suggestion of Mara Goldforest.
4. Crests added to both the Appendages and the Colour tags at the suggestion of Ralen.
5. Links to other codes updated and added to.
6. Links to encoders and decoders added.
7. Various spelling fixes.

31st August 2000:

An update to the Revised Dragon Code (V2.4) is finished. The following modifications were made:

1. The Dragon Code gets its own domain: http://www.dragoncode.org/.
2. Single (preferred) form shapechanger indication changed to put ~ after species.
3. Salamanders were added to the legend category of species (not to be confused with the amphibians) at the request of Serena Firesong.
4. Monkeys (and Gibbons) have been added to the species at the request of Scott.
5. The colour turquoise has been added at the request of Sarah Schalken.
6. The colour modifier pearlescent has been added at the request of Sarah Schalken.
7. The colour modifier patterned has been added at the request of Kathy Hermanson.
8. Imaginary has been added as a Native Land at the request of Scott.
9. Adopted modifier for offspring added at the request of Crean.
10. Claws and horns added as colour body parts at the request of Shelley-Ann Hunter.
11. Horns added as appendages at the request of Shelley-Ann Hunter.
12. Added none to skin types (i.e. no skin, just bones) at the request of Thrames.
13. Added Dracolich to dragon species at the request of Thrames.
14. Triceratops added to dinosaurs at the request of Dragon Rider.
15. Ivory added to colours at the request of Tephra Adularia.
16. Volcanic gasses added to breath weapons at the request of Tephra Adularia.
17. The 'in another form' species modifier can now use {} to specify different tags as for shapechanger.
18. Snow Leopard and Tribble added to species.
19. Glittery added as a colour modifier at the request of Mara Goldforest.
20. Various spelling fixes.

25th February 2000:

An update to the Revised Dragon Code (V2.3) is finished. The following modifications were made:

1. Bats moved from being classed as Rodent-like to their own sub-section under mammals including other avian mammals.
2. Added Crystals as a skin type at the request of Krizak.
3. A way of specifying webbed appendages was added at the request of NiH.
4. A Native land of Jungle representing the tropical rainforests has been added at the request of Meridia.
5. Change to H prefix as being Humanoid in shape to now use H^. In fact ^ now means 'shaped'.
6. Various spelling fixes.

20th October 1999:

An update to the Revised Dragon Code (V2.2) is finished. The following modifications were made:

1. Wood Elves added as a sub-species of Elves under 'Humans'.
2. A Native land of Ice representing the Arctic (and Antarctic) and Tundra areas has been added at the request of Steve.
3. * added to Ubiquity tag modifiers to indicate potentially many past lives, but a reluctance to say how many.

1st October 1999:

The Final Version of the Revised Dragon Code (V2.1) is finished. The following modifications were made:

1. Phoenix added as a species under 'Birds'.
2. Wings that can be used as arm, legs, or fore-limbs was added to the 'Appendages' tag.
3. The '#' modifier was added to the 'Irritability' tag to replace the '!' modifier of the Original Dragon Code. Requested by Rai and Gelgisith.
4. A quantitative option was added to the 'Weight' tag. Requested by Gelgisith.
5. Paddles, flukes, or fins added to the 'Appendages' tag. Requested by Rai.
6. Wording changes to 'Mating-Status' and 'Psy-Power' tags. Requested by Rai.
7. Wording changes to 'Native-Land' and 'Dragon-Friend' tags.
8. Umber added as a colour. Also multiple plusses and minuses meaning lighter and darker respectively. Requested by Steve.
9. Fire Lizards removed from Reptiles. Skinks, Fire Skinks, and Gechos added to Reptiles.

30th August 1999:

The Beta Version of the Revised Dragon Code (V2.1b) is finished.
